Este pasado martes, nuestro instituto se transformó en un mundo de imaginación y asombro al recibir al cuentacuentos profesional Adam Redgrove en una sesión de Storytelling inolvidable. Con su presencia cautivadora y su uso creativo de disfraces y música, Adam dio vida a dos historias especialmente diseñadas para nuestro alumnado de inglés de 2º y 3º ESO: The Last Bus Home y The Jaguar. Adam Redgrove, conocido por sus potentes interpretaciones y su habilidad para conectar con el público joven, creó una atmósfera mágica e inmersiva. Los estudiantes no solo escucharon las historias: las vivieron. Lo que hizo que la sesión fuera realmente especial fue la capacidad de Adam para implicar a cada oyente, utilizando música, gestos dramáticos, voces expresivas y disfraces ingeniosos para dar vida a los personajes.
The Last Bus Home llevó a los estudiantes a una emocionante aventura llena de misterio en el Londres del pasado y del presente, mientras que The Jaguar, historia inspirada en el poema de Ted Hughes, nos transportó al corazón de la selva, donde el suspense y las sorpresas nos esperaban en cada giro. Ambas historias fueron especialmente creadas pensando en los/las estudiantes, combinando un vocabulario rico, con técnicas narrativas claras, que ayudaron a los alumnos a comprender y disfrutar cada momento. De modo que esta actividad no sólo quiso mejorar el inglés de nuestro alumnado de 2º y 3º ESO, también quiso inspirar la creatividad, fomentar la confianza y recordarnos a todos la alegría de una buena historia bien contada. With his captivating presence, enchanting voice, and creative use of costumes and music, Adam brought two specially designed stories to life for our English learners: The Last Bus Home and The Jaguar.

Students didn’t just listen to the stories—they lived them. From the moment he stepped onto the stage, Adam had everyone’s attention, drawing them into a world where anything could happen.What made the session truly special was Adam’s ability to engage every listener, using music, dramatic gestures, expressive voices, and clever costumes to bring characters to life.
The Last Bus Home took students on a thrilling adventure filled with mystery and emotion throughout ancient and contemporary London, while The Jaguar, based on the poem by Ted Hughes, transported them deep into the jungle, where suspense and surprises awaited at every turn. Both stories were specially crafted with language learners in mind, combining rich vocabulary with clear storytelling techniques that helped students understand and enjoy every moment.
This event wasn’t just about improving English—it was about inspiring creativity, building confidence, and reminding us all of the joy of a well-told tale. A huge thank you to Adam Redgrove for sharing his gift with us.
