Storytelling is as old as humankind. Why do we feel compelled to tell stories? Why does the moon intrigue us so much? Why can we see it at night? Why does it look different each night? A full moon with its glowing halo, a crescent, perhaps just a sliver.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Yuma is a curious little girl who questions the stories she is told  by her elders around the fire at night . She has an inquisitive mind: she wonders, observes and learns about the world around her.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

On Monday ,20 April, Navarro Villoslada 1\u00ba ESO students  attended a storytelling session where they learnt about Yuma and the moon. This inspiring story encourages us to question and think.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Las narraciones son tan antiguas como la humanidad. Nacieron detr\u00e1s de cada pregunta y para explicar el mundo. \u00bfPor qu\u00e9 sentimos la necesidad de contar historias? \u00bfPor qu\u00e9 nos intriga tanto la luna? \u00bfPor qu\u00e9 podemos verla de noche? \u00bfPor qu\u00e9 se ve diferente cada noche? Una luna llena con su halo brillante, una luna creciente, quiz\u00e1s solo un peque\u00f1o destello.

Yuma es una ni\u00f1a muy curiosa que se cuestiona todo lo que le cuentan los mayores alrededor de una lumbre, de noche. Con esta mente inquisitiva, se pregunta, observa y aprende sobre el mundo que le rodea. Y as\u00ed fue como nuestro alumnado de 1\u00ba ESO supo el 20 de abril que el 12 de agosto tienen una cita con Yuma y un eclipse solar. \u00a1Gracias, Adam!<\/p>\n\n\n\n
